what should i add to my cake?

next week in my home Economics lesson, we are making cakes, since its easter. it is just a simple single-layered cake. i need some help though. i can either make it plan sponge or chocolate sponge (preferrably plain but im open to offers) and we are allowed to add icing and then bring in any sprinkles, chocolates etc to decorate. what should i add to my cake. chocolate buttons?

Sponge cakes are light, airy cakes leavened with separately beaten egg yolks and beaten egg whites, and they do not contain fat, while chiffon cakes are made with oil.

I would find some pretty pastel colored sprinkles and top the icing with them. Maybe make an easter design, like an easter egg or bunny face with the sprinkles.

Good luck!
